Beej mantras

In the times of ever evolving terminology, words have become superfluous. A sentence is too big for fleeting attention spans and a word is too deceiving with double, triple and quadruple meanings. With too many whatsapp messages to catch up and a load of emails to read-reply-delete, the mind keeps buzzing. In the constant din of understanding and conveying we have lost touch on how to tap the actual information. The information residing in root sounds present in the cosmos. These sounds with no apparent meaning form the very basis of unlocking the treasures of our mind. The positive reverberations from these sounds help a seeker to focus and connect with his/her being. Beej mantras are the monosyllabic sounds passed on to us by the attained ones. Chanting them on a regular basis not only calms our mind but helps us move forward in quest of the ultimate.
